A New Year - Last Year Was Awesome!

I have had an incredible year! Right now I'm sitting at home on New Year's Eve with my family. We've played games, ate cheese and crackers and chicken strips and other stuff, and watched the Beverly Hillbillys marathon! Good times!

I'm sitting here feeling like the most blessed man on the planet. Watching my daughter dance around the room, my youngest son leaning up against his mom watching TV, my oldest son stretched back on the couch like the young man that he is, and the cat is on the prowl somewhere.

But most of all I am blessed with my wife. She's made this holiday season the most wonderful time! Just like she makes everything wonderful. She makes me happier than I ever thought that I could be! I am blessed!

So I was thinking that with all that is about to happen over the next year, what do I want to remember most? I think that it's this - time with my family is the most important and special thing that have. When I am with them and it is truly a refuge from the pressures of life.

Thank you, Father for my life. For blessing me with my family. For blessing me with my calling, and for getting me to this point in life. I want to know you and I want to serve. Let me be a blessing to others. Amen.
